The Israeli consulate provides notary services for the following:

• Power of attorney
• Affidavits
• Certificate of life
• Authentications

Please make sure to make an appointment in advance. Contact us by email (preferably) or phone.

Please note that all notary services except certificate of life and court depositions can be replaced by signing the documents in front of a notary public followed by Apostille authentication from the secretary of state. Contact  the state house to find out about the hours of this service:

In order to recieve notary services, the person signing the document must personally appear at the consulate.

Power of attorney or Affidavits

For notary services such as Power of attorney or Affidavits, please bring with you the following:

• A photo ID such as:
  • Israeli citizens: Israeli passport / Te'udat Zehut / Israeli Driver's license
  • Non Israeli citizens: National passport / Local Driver's license
• The document that requires signing (unsigned). If you need several copies, please make sure to bring several copies of the document.
• The cost of the first signature on a document is $12. Each additional signature (copy or several people signing) costs $6

Certificate of Life

For certificate of life, please bring with you the following:

• A photo ID such as an Israeli passport / Te'udat Zehut / Israeli Driver's license
• The cost of the first certificate is $12. Each additional copy costs $6

Authentications

For a copy of a document, please bring with you the following:

• A photo ID such as:
  • Israeli citizens: Israeli passport / Te'udat Zehut / Israeli Driver's license
  • Non Israeli citizens: National passport / Local Driver's license
• The document that requires authenticating. If you need several copies, please make sure to bring several copies of the document.
• The cost of the first copy $12. Each additional copy costs $6

We accept cash, credit or money orders. Money orders should be made to 'The Consulate General of Israel to New England".

We do not accept personal checks.
