Paula Kabalo teaches on the faculty of the Israel Studies Program and in the School of Management at Ben-Gurion University. She is currently a Schusterman Visiting Israeli Professor at Boston University. Paula Kabalo received her Ph.D. from the School of Jewish Studies at Tel Aviv University. Her major fields of research are the history of Zionism and Israel. She teaches in the Israel Studies Program and the School of Management at Ben –Gurion University. Since 2001, she has been associated with the International Philanthropy Fellows Program at Johns Hopkins University’s Institute for Policy Studies, Center or Civil Society Studies. She is the former co-editor of Johns Hopkins’ Fellows’ Journal, an annual research –and –practitioner’s publication that examines the global nature of civil society and the challenges facing it. Her recent publications include Shurat Hamitnadavim-the Story of a Civic Association, The Weizman Institute for the Study of Zionism and Israel (2007) and Ben-Gurion: Colleccion de Articulos, (forthcoming), which she co-edited with T. Friling. |
